Air Global Hungary receives first Tecnam P2006T twin

Tecnam recently appointed 50th dealer Hungary’s Air Global today received its first Tecnam P2006T twin.

The 1st Hungarian Tecnam P2006T twin, registered HA-TEC was collected from Tecnam’s Capua production facility, in Italy by András Schneider, Air Global’s CEO and flown direct to  Gyor-Per Airport in Hungary.

"We were off course very delighted to be selected as Tecnam exclusive dealer for Hungary last year, especially as we were Tecnam’s milestone 50th worldwide dealer’’ said András Schneider, CEO of Air Global.  ‘’However now that we have collected our first Tecnam P2006T twin, we now have in our possession a Tecnam demonstrator that we can promote to a very robust Hungarian General Aviation market’’.

‘’I am extremely impressed how quickly Air Global’s young and dynamic team have established themselves as our 50th worldwide dealer.’' said Paolo Pascale, Tecnam’s Managing Director.  ‘’I have no doubt our partnership will really benefit the burgeoning Hungarian General Aviation Market’’

The Tecnam P2006T Next-Generation twin is a real game changer. A twin for the price of a single, that burns significantly less fuel than many singles, yet offers the improved performance and safety of a second power plant, will enables operators to offer a modern high performance twin trainer both for aspiring commercial pilots and for pilots wanting a new (or to renew a) multi-engine piston rating, all with flying at prices similar to many single engine aeroplanes’’

“Announcing the arrival of the TECNAM ‘P2010’ Innovation, Style and Advanced Technology”

NAPLES, Italy/July 2010 - TECNAM “Quality Aircraft since 1948”
From Professor Luigi Pascale comes the latest addition to the TECNAM Fleet the TECNAM
P2010.
Bringing together an advanced technology all carbon fibre fuselage with a metal wing and
stabilator based on the best of TECNAM’s recent P2006T Twin and P2008 offerings, this
single engine, 4 seat aeroplane is set to be premiered at AERO 2011 in Friedrichshafen,
Germany.
Utilising both carbon fibre and metal has allowed Professor Pascale to optimise aerodynamic
quality and reliability.
Carbon fibre ensures smooth surfaces and allows for an elegance and styling you would
expect from Italy. Metal is used for the wing and stabilator to provide further strength and
stability.
Powered by a Lycoming IO-360-M1a (‘Lycoming Light’) engine, providing 180HP and
2700RPM. The wing is based on the well-proven NACA63A aerofoil. Through partial tapering,
the design brings it close to the optimal lift distribution (elliptical).
The all movable type (stabilator) horizontal tail, a trade mark of all TECNAM aeroplanes,
allows for excellent controllability and ‘hands off’ longitudinal stability.
The nose gear is free castoring and consists of a tubular steel leg connected to the lower
engine mount attachments and is braced by a rubber shock absorber. The landing gear is
also faired to minimise drag, whilst ground steering is by differential braking.
The TECNAM P2010 has a high fuel capacity (210lt, 46.2 imp. gal). The fuel tanks are
installed in the wing box, behind the main spar, to preserve their integrity in case of an
accident. Of course carbon fibre equals a lighter and therefore more fuel efficient aeroplane.
Tecnam has always paid great attention to comfort for both pilots and passengers. The cabin
width also allows for a large instrument panel, with its modular design specifically tailored to
allow the customer to fit either an analogue or digital instrumentation package.
The TECNAM P2010, innovation, style and advanced technology.

“TECNAM P2006T receives EASA Certification for GARMIN G950 Glass Cockpit Panel “CS/23 – TCDS A.185 issue 2”

EASA has issued Type Certificate “CS/23-TCDS A.185 issue 2” for the TECNAM P2006T.
The addition of the G950 Glass Cockpit certification from EASA to the list of options already available for TECNAM´s revolutionary twin engine, four seat fully retractable aircraft is further evidence of TECNAM´s intention to be at the forefront of re-positioning General Aviation for the modern world.

The Garmin’s G950 is an all-glass avionics suite that is based on the popular G1000®. It is designed for aircraft manufacturers looking for a standardized avionics configuration and who are prepared to manage the avionics certification process themselves.
